Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

How do I book an appointment?

Fill out the booking enquiry form with your idea, placement, size, and any reference images. I'll get back to you to discuss the design, and once we're both happy, we'll confirm with a deposit.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Pricing depends on size, complexity, and placement. Every piece is custom-quoted. I'm happy to work within your budget where possible — just mention it when you enquire and we'll find something that works.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a deposit is required to secure your booking. It goes toward the final cost of your tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel without adequate notice, but can be transferred if you reschedule with enough warning.

How painful are tattoos?

Pain varies a lot depending on placement, your personal tolerance, and the size of the piece. Bony areas (ribs, spine, feet) tend to hurt more than fleshier spots. Most people find it very manageable — and the result is worth it. If you're worried, we can chat through placement options.

How long does a tattoo take to heal?

Surface healing takes around 2–4 weeks. Full dermal healing can take 3–6 months. Following aftercare instructions is crucial — I'll give you everything you need to know after your session.

What aftercare do you recommend?

Keep it clean, moisturised, and out of direct sunlight. Avoid swimming, soaking, and picking at it while it heals. I'll give you specific aftercare instructions after your appointment.

Do you do walk-ins?

Walk-ins are occasionally available, but booking ahead is strongly recommended to guarantee a spot. Check Instagram for any same-day availability announcements.

Where are you based?

I work at Save Point Tattoo in Greenslopes, Brisbane, QLD. Clients also fly in from interstate and overseas — if that's you, get in touch and we'll sort out the logistics.

Do you do styles other than geometric?

Geometric blackwork is my main focus and where I do my best work. I have a background in Polynesian, Māori, Samoan Tattau, western tribal, and black and grey realism — reach out and we can discuss if your idea is something I can take on.
